<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocatable open end wrench. <P>SOLUTION: The open end wrench has a body, and the body has a fastening jaw. The fastening jaw has inside a slide groove, and a groove body of the slide groove can be designed to be finished with collective machining. A sliding piece performs arcuate slide inside the slide groove. The sliding piece has a guide groove into which a guide post is bored through to strengthen the structure so as not to come off. On both sides of a first rotation plane of the sliding piece, there are provided extended surfaces respectively. A first fastening pawl and a second fastening pawl of the fastening jaw can rotate about an axis position of a workpiece without causing collision and interference with an inner circle diameter formed between the first rotation plane of the sliding piece and two extended surfaces. Moreover, the area of the extended surfaces on both sides of the sliding piece is expanded outside from the first rotation plane toward a thickness direction of two walls, a first retaining wall and a second retaining wall of the body, to thereby increase a contact area of a position on the first rotation plane and a fourth forward force-receiving surface in contact with the workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
