The present invention relates to a booting device and a method thereof. According to the present invention, a master processor is booted, the master processor transfers a booting image to an emulator, a slave processor requests booting information from the emulator, the emulator transfers the booting image to the slave processor according to the request, and the slave processor is booted and communicates with the master processor. Consequently, the present invention can reduce the physical size and manufacturing cost of the booting device by using an emulator capable of replacing a large-capacity nonvolatile memory connected to the slave processor with a small-capacity memory. |
