The system has a wiper blade (2) fastened to a wiper arm (4) using a holding element (5), and a controlling device coupled with a detecting device for receiving a signal. A wiper blade actuator is designed as an elongated element, arranged along the wiper blade and operatively coupled with the controlling device. The wiper blade is deformed by an intrinsic two-way memory effect depending on information with respect to environmental conditions so that the wiper blade moves a disk (3) to be wiped in complete and punctual plants from a position. An independent claim is also included for a method for activating a windscreen-wiping system.
