PURPOSE: A power conversion device and an output current detection method thereof are provided to detect an output current using a low voltage device. CONSTITUTION: A power conversion part(10) converts input power to output power. A first resistor(R1) is connected to an output part of the power conversion part. A second resistor(R2) is connected to the first resistor. A current controller(20) controls a second current. The current controller outputs a third current corresponding to the second current. A voltage sensor unit detects first voltage corresponding to the third current. A sample/holding part(30) samples the first voltage and outputs sampled voltage. A switch controller(40) controls operation of the power conversion part.
