PURPOSE: A railless no-gap welding apparatus is provided to ensure facilitated handling excluding a separate rail and to reduce the load of welding work by removing a gap. CONSTITUTION: A railless no-gap welding apparatus comprises a pair of guide rollers(220), a main frame(200), traveling wheels(230), a traveling motor(310), a slide box(S), a sliding block(240), a fixing bracket(260), a torch connecting clamp(270), a torch mount(280), a vibrating torch(290), and a welding nozzle(300). The pair of guide rollers are fixed to the main frame. The traveling wheels are installed on both ends of the main frame in a direction crossing the guide rollers and roll-contact the surface of a main deck(100). The traveling motor is fixed to the top of the main frame and drives the traveling wheels. The sliding block is laterally slid inside the slide box. The fixing bracket is fixed to the top of the sliding block. The torch mount is fastened to the torch connecting clamp, where the angle of the torch mount can be controlled. The vibrating torch is fixed to the torch mount. The welding nozzle is vibrated laterally at high speed by the vibrating torch and guides a welding wire. |
