<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen area detection method, a specimen area detection device and a specimen area detection program capable of detecting even an area having small contrast as an area including a specimen. <P>SOLUTION: In the specimen area detection method, a first area detection unit 41 detects an area having contrast in a first image obtained by imaging an observation target under visual light irradiation as a first area, a second area detection unit 42 detects an area having contrast in a second image obtained by imaging the observation target under ultraviolet irradiation as a second area, and a specimen area regulation unit 43 regulates a specimen area including a specimen being present on the observation target based on the first area and the second area. Since area detection is applied to the second image captured under the ultraviolet irradiation in addition to the first image captured under the visual light irradiation, even an area having small contract under visual light can be detected as a specimen area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
