<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of electric power consumption due to edge correction in displaying an image. <P>SOLUTION: An image signal processing method includes steps of: supplying a first original image signal (Fb(m)) of a first color component (B) of a plurality of color components (RGB) to a display output terminal (404) within a first period (SF1) of a plurality of periods in one field period (F(m)); supplying a correction image signal (Fbe(m)) obtained by performing edge correction of the first original image signal to the display output terminal within a second period; supplying a second original image signal (Fr(m)) of a second color component (R) and a third original image signal (Fg(m)) of a third color component (G) to the display output terminal within the first period; and suppressing the supply of the image signal of the second and the third color components within the second period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
