<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output image data with image quality suitable for the intended use of a user, while suppressing the increase of the capacity of image data to be stored in a BOX. <P>SOLUTION: The attributes of respective pixels constituting input image data are determined so as to count the number of the pixels determined to have photographic attributes. When it is determined that the number of the counted pixels is equal to or more than a prescribed threshold, print data to be obtained by performing filter processing suitable for printing with respect to the image data and transmission data to be obtained by performing filter processing suitable for transmission with respect to the image data are stored in a storage device. When it is determined that the number of the counted pixels is not equal to or more than the prescribed threshold, the print data to be obtained by performing filter processing suitable for printing with respect to the image data is stored in the storage device, and the transmission data is not stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
