<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of a developer during conveyance and operation without changing contact pressure against a developing roll. <P>SOLUTION: Developer leakage preventing means 180 is disposed to have its tip brought into contact with a surface of a developer holder 172 over a whole length along the axial direction of the developer holder 172, and includes a flexible backflow preventing member 181 for preventing backflow of a developer and a plate-shaped turning preventing member 183 stacked on the backflow preventing member 181 on an upstream side without allowing its tip to come into contact with the surface of the developer holder 172 for preventing the backflow preventing member 181 from turning up. The backflow preventing member 181 and the turning preventing member 183 are attached on a developing device housing 171 with their base sides integrally united with each other but their tip sides are separated from each other so that the backflow preventing member 181 may change its position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
