<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, capable of dividing at least a partial region of an image composed of electronic data into division regions of an appropriate size, and capable of including important information in any division region. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: a storage unit for storing the image; and a processing unit 14 for specifying at least one region in the image to divide the specified region into a first division region and a second division region by separating with a prescribed space, and for setting the first division region and the second division region so that an evaluation value representing the number of brightness change points in the prescribed space becomes minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
