<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an operation sound from becoming large, in a mirror device for a vehicle for adjusting a mirror surface angle of a mirror by rotating a wheel gear by rotating a worm gear. <P>SOLUTION: In a door mirror device 10 for the vehicle, in a mirror surface angle adjusting device 12, a motor 28 is driven, and the worm gear 30 is rotated, so that a wheel drive 34 is rotated, and an angle of a mirror surface of a mirror is adjusted. Here, an abutting part 32 of the worm gear 30 abuts on a bearing 46 in the radial direction, to thereby lock tilting in the radial direction toward the outside in the radial direction of the wheel drive 34 of the worm gear 30. Thus, the worm gear 30 can be restrained from tilting in the radial direction toward the outside in the radial direction of the wheel drive 34, a meshing quantity to the wheel drive 34 of the worm gear 30 can be restrained from becoming small, and the operation sound can be restrained from becoming large. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
