<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renovated sash that dispenses with framing work performed by screwing frame materials of a newly-installed frame body to each other and that can set the opening width of the newly-installed frame body great, and a method for renovating the sash. <P>SOLUTION: A newly-installed frame body 2 for being attached in such a manner as to cover an inner peripheral surface of an existing frame body 1 attached to a building opening is provided. A corner component 30 is disposed between an inner peripheral surface of each of four corners of the existing frame body 1 and a frame material constituting the newly-installed frame body 2. The corner component 30 abuts on the inner peripheral surface of the existing frame body 1.
