<p>The present invention relates to an information support system arranged to facitilate user access to information concerning functional objects or necessities in a complex system or product, in or for a car, of which they form a part or with which they are associated, or to additional, external, information related to the functional objects. It comprises an on-board computer (1A; 1B) in the car and user station (2A; 2B) a user interface (3A; 3B) and which comprises or communicates with an application server (web server) (10; 11; 110C) holding an information support application. The on-board computer (1A; 1B) supports communication with the user station (2A; 2B) or additionally comprises a user station functionality (102) and, at least upon occurrence of a predetermined event associated with one of the functional objects, activates a communication with the user station or the user station functionality (2A; 2B), and transfers information associated with, or about, the relevant event to the user station.</p> |
