<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for antagonizing hedgehog signaling by making use of RNA interference (RNAi), and provide a reagent. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a hedgehog RNAi antagonist for inhibiting at least one of the growth, proliferation, and survival of an undesirable cell. The cell is a mammal cell that expresses Shh, and the hedgehog RNAi antagonist is against a target sequence that is a positive regulator of a hedgehog route. The target sequence is Shh gene, and at least one of the growth, proliferation, and survival of the cell can be inhibited by making the cell contact the hedgehog RNAi antagonist in an effective amount. Further, the hedgehog RNAi antagonist is characterized by having a sequence identical at 90% or higher with either SEQ ID No:5-6 or 9-12 nucleic acid sequence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
