摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus for optical devices in which the temperature distribution of the molding apparatus is effectively controlled and high-accuracy optical devices can be molded in a good yield by controlling the temperature distribution. <P>SOLUTION: In the molding apparatus 1 for optical devices, a mold 50 with an optical material placed between an upper mold part and a lower mold part is sequentially fed to heating, press molding and cooling stages 3, 4 and 5 to mold an optical device. The molding apparatus has a pair of upper and lower heating plates 3b, a pair of upper and lower press plates 4b and a pair of upper and lower cooling plates 5b which subject the mold 50 to heating, press molding and cooling processes, respectively. The cooling plates 5b internally have a plurality of evenly spaced cartridge heaters 5a and thermocouples disposed near the respective cartridge heaters, and furthermore the cooling plates 5b have output control means to which temperatures measured with the thermocouples are fed back to thereby independently control the outputs of the cartridge heaters one by one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
