<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving. <P>SOLUTION: An FPD 36 is provided with an ammeter 56 for measuring a current at a wire connection 45 of bias lines 44 which apply bias voltage to pixels 37. A control circuit 41 compares a magnitude relation between the measurement value of the ammeter 56 and a threshold value, and determines that radiation of an X-ray is started from an X-ray source 13 when the measurement value of the ammeter 56 is larger than the threshold value. The control circuit 41 turns off a power source 52 to stop power supply to a signal processing circuit 40, setting all TFTs 43 to an on-state until the X-ray radiation start is detected. When the X-ray radiation start is detected, the control circuit 41 sets all TFTs 43 to an off-state, shifting the FPD 36 to an accumulation operation, and then turns on the power source 52 to start power supply to the signal processing circuit 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
