<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport mechanism of an electronic component capable of improving transport efficiency of the electronic component by avoiding degradation of processing accuracy by securing a positioning time and a processing time of the electronic component and relaxing restriction of the arrangement number of holding means of the electronic component and a process processing unit, and acquiring excellent reliability and economic efficiency by improving production efficiency; and an electronic component inspection device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of holding units 1 are mounted at equal intervals along an outer periphery of a turntable T. The arrangement interval of the holding units 1 is set equal to the rotation angle of one pitch of the turntable T.
