APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SINGLE CRYSTAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a single crystal that can improve manufacturing efficiency of the single crystal without enlarging a single crystal manufacturing apparatus.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the single crystal includes: a heat conductor arrangement step of arranging a heat conductor 11A on a surface 6a of a sublimable material 6 stored in a crucible 8; and a growth step of sublimating the material 6 by heating the crucible 8 and the heat conductor 11A and adhering a sublimated gas of the material 6 to a seed crystal 10 fixed to a lid body 9 for sealing the crucible 8 for recrystallization while lowering the heat conductor 11A to grow the single crystal 15.
