<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized antenna and a communication device using it. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna is arranged on a plane surface and comprises a band-shaped conductor 20 having a shape obtained by the following operation: (1) a linear-shaped zero-order element 40 is sectioned into four first-order elements 41a-41d with equal length, and at borders between the first-order elements of both ends and the first-order elements inside of them, the conductor 20 is bended at 90° in opposite ways with each other such that straight lines connecting both ends become parallel to each other before and after bending; and (2) each of the first-order elements 41a-41d is sectioned into four second-order elements with equal length, and at each of the first-order elements, at borders between the second-order elements of both ends and the second-order elements inside of them, the conductor 20 is bended at 90° in opposite ways with each other such that straight lines connecting both ends become parallel to each other before and after bending. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
