<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a target substance to be detected quickly, simply and sensitively. <P>SOLUTION: A target substance detector 1a comprises: a substrate 4a having a convexo-concave 7a, at least a surface of which is an insulator, formed on one of its faces; a target substance reactor 3 formed by arranging a plurality of complexes of a target combined substance and a carbon nano-tube in an irregular mesh shape on the face on which the convexo-concave 7a is formed; and two electrodes 2 and 2 electrically combined with the target substance reactor 3. Detection of the target substance can be accomplished by measuring an electrical resistance value between the two electrodes 2 and 2 after bringing a sample into contact with the target substance reactor 3 of the target substance detector 1a. The presence or absence of the target substance can be determined on the basis of the electrical resistance value so obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
