<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a curved hollow pipe, which can form a superb quality pipe, even in the case of forming a three-dimensionally curved pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the curved hollow pipe by bending, stretching three-dimensionally and adjusting two side edges of a workpiece W after applying stepwise press working on the flat sheet workpiece W through a plurality of forming dies includes: a step of forming an extruded part 13 which is extruded in an out-of-plane direction and curved and extended in a plane on the workpiece W by press working, forming extended parts 15 extended apart on both sides of the extruded part 13 of the workpiece W and forming brim parts 16 bent to the pressing direction at the tips of the extended parts 15; a step of forming both the brim parts 16 to face each other by warping bent portions 17 between the extruded part 13 and the extended parts 15 while maintaining the bent between the extended parts 15 and the brim parts 16; and a step of adjusting the tips of brim parts 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
