The present invention relates to a method for disconnecting a photovoltaic assembly (100), wherein the photovoltaic assembly (100) comprises the following: a string (43) comprising a plurality of photovoltaic modules (40, 41) comprising a plurality of solar cells, electrical line means (42), which connect the individual photovoltaic modules (40, 41) to one another to form the string (43) and serve the purpose of conducting the current produced by the individual solar cells in the photovoltaic modules (40, 41) to a common inverter (44), wherein the photovoltaic assembly (100) is disconnected by means of a disconnection signal in a hazard situation. Furthermore, in order to ensure increased safety in an emergency situation, provision is made for the disconnection signal to be conducted via the electrical line means (42) to the individual photovoltaic modules (40, 41) in the string (43), for the disconnection signal to be detected at the respective photovoltaic module (40, 41) and for the respective photovoltaic module (40, 41) to be disconnected via a switching device arranged at the respective photovoltaic module (40, 41). |
