<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact pipe joint without hindering durability. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint 1 includes a rubber hose 2, a metal pipe 3 and a metal sleeve 4. An insert part 32 of the pipe 3 is inserted into the hose 2. An outside surface of the insert part 32 is provided with a base cylindrical surface 34, a concave/convex surface 35 and an end cylindrical surface 38. The sleeve 4 includes two small-diameter parts 43 and 44. The first small-diameter part 43 is positioned radially outside the concave/convex surface 35. The second small-diameter part 44 is positioned only radially outside the end cylindrical surface 38. The second small-diameter part 44 and the end cylindrical surface 38 restrain the hose 2, while restricting the stress to be applied to the hose 2. Further, the first small-diameter part 43 and the concave/convex surface 35 strongly restrain the hose 2, and give high sealability to the hose 2.
