A controller sets a flow entry, which has the header information of a delay measuring packet as a rule and a transfer operation to a second switch as an action, to a first switch and sends the delay measuring packet to the first switch. The first switch, in accordance with the flow entry set by the first switch itself, transfers to the second switch the delay measuring packet sent by the controller. An analysis module obtains the delay measuring packet from the second switch and using the time stamped on the delay measuring packet, calculates the communication interval delay between the first switch and the second switch. |
