This rotation detection set comprises an encoder washer (20) rotatable around a rotation axis, at least one sensor (482) adapted to detect a rotation parameter of the encoder washer through an air gap (G), a support member (44) for holding the sensor with respect to the rotation axis and a mounting member (42) for immobilizing the support member with respect to a fixed structure (4). The mounting member (42) is made of one piece of magnetic material and has a first wall (421 ) located on the same side of the air gap (G) as the encoder washer (20) and a second wall (423) located on the same side of the air gap as the sensor (482) whereas a magnetic body (24) of the encoder washer (20), the air gap (G) and the sensor (482) are located in a volume (V42) defined by the mounting member (42) between the two walls (421, 423).
