The method involves reinforcing a connecting hose for functioning as a support of an impulse generator that is supplied with gas from an energy source (E) over a control unit (S) and a pressure hose (V). A gas flow in chambers is interrupted by axial movement of an angular-shaped channel. Three separating walls are provided with a sealing element made of wear-resistant elastic material, where the walls are made of aluminum alloy or titanium alloy. Sum of surfaces of two of the walls is larger than a surface of the third wall and function of measure between feeding and operating pressures. An independent claim is also included for a device for generating shock wave for performing a method for triggering an avalanche, comprising a pre-pressure chamber.
