The covering (4) has an outer shell (1) and an inner insulation (2) made of respective polyurethane materials. The polyurethane material of the outer shell is different from the polyurethane material of the inner insulation. A temperature resistance of the polyurethane materials ranges between 40 and 120 degree Celsius. A heat storage stability of inner housing amounts to 160 hours in 140 degree Celsius. A density of the polyurethane material of the shell ranges from 900 - 1300 kg per cubic m. A density of the polyurethane material of the inner insulation ranges from 80 - 100 kg per cubic m. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sound-proof covering.
