<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit for an air-blowing apparatus that, even if a hall element and a drive IC are integrated into a package, can easily confirm an output voltage of the hall element, and as a result, can reliably determine a distance between a magnet and the control circuit for the air-blowing apparatus when designing, and thereby accuracy in the control circuit for the air-blowing apparatus is improved and the air-blowing apparatus stably functioning can be manufactured, and to provide the air-blowing apparatus using the control circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The control circuit for the air-blowing apparatus is provided to the air-blowing apparatus that generates wind by rotating its blades. The control circuit for the air-blowing apparatus incorporates: the drive IC 72 that controls rotation of the blades; and a hall element 71 having two output terminals and detecting the rotation of the blades.
