<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a solvent for use in coating materials as does not degrade a solvent power to synthetic resins, has coating properties and quick-drying, and also availability corresponding to legislative change, and is a very little bad influence on the human bodies and the environments; and to provide a method for manufacturing it. <P>SOLUTION: This solvent for use in coating materials is formed by using as the raw material preferably a kerosine fraction, by using as the principal ingredient a low-boiling point isoparaffin having a boiling point of 120-200°C, and by adding thereto glycol ether. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
