The invention describes a system for monitoring the leak-tightness of a tank (101), which is filled with a liquid (200) with a lower density than that of water, and which has a liquid run-off pipeline (100, 102), with a container (1) which has a bottom well (13) and is integrated horizontally in the liquid run-off pipeline (100, 102), and with a baffle element (5), which divides the container (1) into a partial region (12) on the run-in side and a partial region (11) on the run-out side. A first vibrational measuring device (3), with a first vibratory unit (31) protruding into the partial region (12) on the run-in side of the bottom well (13), determines whether the density of the medium is below a predetermined limit value, a second vibrational measuring device (4), with a second vibratory unit (41), detects whether the vibratory units (31, 41) are covered with medium, and an evaluation unit (6) ascertains on the basis of the measured values of the measuring devices (3, 4) whether there is liquid (200) from the tank (101) in the container (1). |
