PURPOSE: A divided display operating method of a navigation terminal is provided to remove keys comprised in a case frame of a navigation terminal and to improve the advertising effect by advertisement images on a divided area of a touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A display screen operating method of a navigation terminal is as follows. A screen of a touch screen is divided into a first area displaying navigation images and a second area displaying a key pad or advertisement images(301). The first area is deactivated when a corresponding signal are generated by the key pad of the second area(303,305). An output of the navigation images is stopped when the signal are generated. The first area is activated when another signal is generated by the key pad of the second area(307,309).
