CLUTTER REDUCTION METHOD FOR MOVING OBJECT AND TARGET DETECTION SYSTEM USING THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for removing a clutter for detecting a moving target and a moving target detecting system using the same are provided to detect a moving target with a small calculation amount in comparison with linear detection algorithm using Hough transform. CONSTITUTION: A gating unit(133-1) loads and classifies detection materials from a detection material storage if the detection materials of a current detection cycle are received. A Hough parameter calculating unit(133-2) calculates a Hough parameter using the detection materials. A deciding unit(133-3) distinguishes a measurement value generated from a target by comparing Hough parameters. A confirming unit(133-4) loads the Hough parameters related to the overlapped detection materials among the detection materials from the target, leaves the Hough parameter similar to a linear line and removes the remaining detection materials as clutters.
