ACCESS POINT FOR ASSIGNING GROUP ID AND METHOD OF ASSIGNING GROUP ID, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access point and a method of assigning a group ID, and a computer-readable storage medium for identifying a group of terminals using a limited number of bits.

SOLUTION: The access point comprises: a terminal group generation unit to generate at least one terminal group in which a plurality of terminals located within a coverage area of the access point are aligned based on a predetermined sequence; a conditional probability calculating unit to calculate a conditional probability of a terminal being present in the predetermined sequence of the terminal group, with respect to each of the plurality of terminals; and a group ID assigning unit to assign the terminals to a plurality of group IDs included in a plurality of group ID sets, based on the calculated conditional probability.
