摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet curable ink composition having a small initial coloration degree, and excellent in curability of an ink and scratch resistance of a cured film, and to provide a recording method using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: In this ultraviolet curable ink composition containing a polymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator, the polymerizable compound contains a 40-90 mass% monomer A represented by following general formula (I): CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>=CR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>-COOR<SP POS="POST">2</SP>-O-CH=CH-R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>(I) (in the formula, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a 2-20C bivalent organic residue, and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a 1-11C univalent organic residue) with respect to the total amount of the ink composition, and the photopolymerization initiator contains 7-12 mass% acylphosphine oxide with respect to the total amount of the ink composition, and the acylphosphine oxide contains monoacylphosphine oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
