<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound signal synthesizing method, a program and a musical sound signal synthesizer capable of creating pseudo-instrumental sound expressing characteristics of sound emitted by a musical instrument of a three-dimensional structure having chords and a main body, including decorative sound, in a realistic way. <P>SOLUTION: The musical sound signal synthesizing method generates and outputs decorative sound information indicating the force exerted against the main body by decorative sound, which is part of sound, according to performance information. Furthermore, the method acquires the force exerted against chords and displacement at the chord support ends, performs a chord model calculation to compute the force exerted by a chord against the chord support end on the basis of a physical model calculation indicating vibration of the chord, and performs a main body calculation to compute displacement of each characteristic vibration mode of the main body on the mode coordinate and displacement at each chord support end on the basis of a motion equation expressing vibration of the main body with the use of the force exerted by a chord against the chord support end and the decorative sound information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
