<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery system and an electric vehicle therewith which can ensure a uniform life for a plurality of batteries connected in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary battery system A includes: a plurality of charging batteries 2-4 connected in parallel; a converter 5 for adjusting and outputting a voltage input from the charging batteries 2-4; and a working battery 7 charged by the output of the converter 5 and supplying the power to a load 6.
