<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the noise peak (f<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) of noise caused by the periodic swelling of a tooth face by dissolving it without dropping its production capacity. <P>SOLUTION: When creating the form of a tooth in a gear material 20 by reciprocating a pinion cutter 10 axially with respect to the gear material 20 while rotating the pinion cutter 10 and the gear material 20 synchronously, the feed speed in the rotating direction to the reciprocating speed in the axial direction of the pinion cutter 10 is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
