FOAM BEAD MOLDED ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam bead molded article that has a reduced weight while still maintaining superior flame retardancy, and is superior in moldability as well as antistatic performance.

SOLUTION: The foam bead molded article includes a base resin containing a polyphenylene ether resin and a flame retardant, and an antistatic agent. The foam bead molded article has the flame retardancy of V-0 or V-1, which is measured according to the UL-94 Vertical Burning Test (20 mm vertical burning test) of the UL standard.
