<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read an image on a manuscript by irradiating an irradiation object with light from a light source effectively. <P>SOLUTION: In a total reflection surface constituting a light guide body 505, a first reflection surface 421 is formed in a direction to reflect light received by the first reflection surface 421 toward a first light emission surface 411, a second reflection surface 422 is formed in a direction to reflect light received by the second reflection surface 422 toward any of a second light emission surface 412, the first reflection surface 421, and a third reflection surface 423, and the third reflection surface 423 is formed in a direction to reflect light received by the third reflection surface 423 toward any of the second light emission surface 412 and the first reflection surface 421.
