<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store log information of monitor object equipment in a proper period in accordance with the content of the log information. <P>SOLUTION: An information management device includes: a log collection part 14 for collecting the log information of an ink jet printer 2; a first log storage part 15 for, with defining the collected prescribed amount of log information as one first log file, storing the first log file in a first period; a second log storage part 16 for storing the first log file as a second log file in a second period; a flag storage part 13 for, when the ink jet printer 2 is normally stopped, storing an end flag; a determination part 17 for, when the ink jet printer 2 is started, determining whether or not the end flag is stored in the flag storage part 13; and a log movement part 18 for, when it is determined that the end flag is not stored, making the second log storage part 16 store the finally stored log file among one or more first log files stored in the first log storage part 15 as the second log file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
