This power generation system is provided with: a power generation unit (1); a chassis (2) for housing the power generation unit (1); a ventilator (3) for ventilating the interior of the chassis (2); a first gas channel (5) provided in the chassis (2) and through which flows the gas that accompanies operation of the ventilator (3); and a second gas channel (6) provided in the chassis (2) and through which flows the combustion exhaust gas from the power generation unit (1). Therein, the second gas channel (6) merges with the first gas channel (5) inside the chassis (2).
