The device (1) has a support base (2) i.e. carrier cross, with two fixed sections positionable adjacent to each other. A support element (3) places the support base on a fixedly positioned component. A springy pneumatic suction cup (4) for suction of the fixedly positioned component. Another springy pneumatic suction cup is utilized for suction of a movable adjustable component i.e. door. An adjustable threaded spindle (7) is formed on the movable component. A helical spring (5) of the former suction cup needle provides a higher spring force than a helical spring (6) of the latter suction cup. An independent claim is also included for a method for using a hand adjustment device.
