The invention relates to a tool (11; 31) for mounting or removing a power supply container of a drive motor of a motor vehicle that is secured to the motor vehicle using a bolt (2) acted on by a bolt-loading piston (5). The invention is characterised in that it comprises: at least one tool-securing means (17; 37); a means (33) for releasing the bolt (2) loading, by acting on the piston (5); and a means (18; 38) for locking and/or unlocking the battery.
