PURPOSE: Broadcasting receiving method and apparatus are provided to smoothly select broadcasting stations without generating a blank on a digital broadcasting transceiver using one tuner. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting receiving method comprises the following steps: slowly adjusting the playing speed of non-played image data on a frame buffer area using a play processing unit when the amount of the non-played image data is greater than the predetermined amount(S2, S4); obtaining a transport stream from channel 1 using a decoding processing unit when the amount of the non-played image data smaller than the predetermined amount; separating and decoding the image data using the decoding processing(S3); changing the channel from the channel 1 to channel 2 using a front-end unit; and separating and decoding image data from the channel 2 using the decoding processing unit(S6).
