An automatic data backup method using an e-mail in a mobile communication terminal is provided to previously check a memory state of a portable phone and automatically transmit data, exceeding a certain capacity, through the e-mail or automatically transmit initially-recorded data through the e-mail, thereby reducing loads of a memory in the portable phone. An automatic data backup method using an e-mail in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: checking a memory of the mobile communication(S101); and transmitting predetermined data to an e-mail server if memory space is insufficient(S102,S105). The data is transmitted through a method previously designated by a user. The data is transmitted in order in which its capacity of the data is big. The data is transmitted in the order in which the data is stored. |
