DC VOLTAGE STEP-UP AND STEP-DOWN PULSE REGULATOR

The invention refers to electrical engineering, particularly to electronic power converters. Its aim is to simplify design of system. The aim is reached in such a way, that a voltage step-up and step-down pulse regulator have the choke and commutated filter capacitor on the input of the converter's supply circuit, as well as have a circuit parallel to load, which comprises voltage filter capacitor and semiconductor switch that is separated from load by diode. The load circuit further is provided by supplementary transistor switch between input choke and semiconductor switch that in parallel to load circuit is shunted by anti-parallel diode and auxiliary choke in series with separation diode. While converter is working in voltage step-down regime, the parallel to load circuit transistor is constantly in non-conduction mode. Voltage regulation is gained by controlling auxiliary transistor by pulse width modulation signal. When converter is working in step-up regime, the auxiliary semiconductor switch is constantly in conduction mode, and effect of regulation is reached by pulse width modulation.
