PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for supplying a progressive download streaming service of a multiple multimedia file are provided to supply a multimedia a content file of large size to a user terminal in a multiple multimedia content file type. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal receives a plurality of series files from a server(S13,S32). The user terminal generates each local file for progressive download streaming(S40). Each local file includes an identifier to a file header. The identifier designates a reproducing order of data which is extracted from header information. |
