The method comprises providing (S1) a first sonotrode having a sonotrode head, which has a receptacle for receiving an area to be formed with the predetermined contour of the component, forming a sub-region of the area to be formed with the contour of the component having a second sonotrode, partially receiving (2) the area and the sub-region of the area to be formed with the contour, moving (S3) the first and second sonotrodes and the component relative to each other for forming the receptacle of the sonotrode head, moving the sonotrode with the receptacle in the sonotrode head along the area to be formed with the contour of the component, or moving the component with its area to be formed with the contour along the receptacle of the sonotrode head of the sonotrode, manually or mechanically moving the sonotrode head and/or the component, where the mechanically moving step is carried out by a robot, arranging the receptacle of the sonotrode head perpendicular to the area to be formed with the contour of the component, providing a surface region of a blade element of an engine gas turbine, varying a power of the sonotrode for forming the area to be formed with the contour having a wave-shaped contour, and providing the receptacle of the sonotrode head having a round and blunt blade edge of the blade element. The area and the sub-region of the component are guided with the contour by the ultrasonic impact treatment. The second sonotrode comprises the sonotrode head, which has the receptacle for partially receiving the sub-region of the area to be formed with the contour of the component. The receptacle of the sonotrode head comprises a predetermined blade edge contour. Independent claims are included for: (1) a blade element such as a turbine; and (2) a device for forming a region of a component having a predetermined contour using an ultrasonic impact treatment.
