摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing rising of an exhaust gas temperature without reducing fuel economy performance under the operation circumstance that the exhaust gas temperature is raised in a vehicle provided with a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: A power train of the vehicle W is provided with: an engine 1; a torque converter 2; an advancement/retreating switching mechanism 3; and a CVT 4. In the engine 1, at low rotation, an ignition timing is spark-delayed in order to prevent knocking. When the state in which a road surface slope is 4% or more is continued for a predetermined period of time in traveling of the vehicle W, when an intake temperature is 40°C or higher, an engine water temperature is 106°C or higher, and a vehicle speed is 20 km or faster, since it is in the operation state in which the exhaust gas temperature is raised, the number of revolution of the engine is raisedly corrected by changing a shift ratio of the CVT 4 a spark-delay amount of the ignition timing becomes small thereby, and rising of the exhaust gas temperature is suppressed.
