The medical device has elongated electrical lead (20) having functional conductors, which are connected to respective functional electrode pins for delivering therapy signals or for detecting diagnostic signals. A primary function circuit has primary conductor which is connected with longitudinal portion. A secondary function circuit is configured such that electromagnetic radio frequency waves are guided partially into primary conductor. The wires of functional conductor are engaged.
